Channel at Hell Gate Social... what a blast!!!

My friend and fellow Was Is compadre Brian Boyle was good enough to set up, coordinate and otherwise oversee an evening of improvised and experimental music at Astoria's very hip club Hell Gate Social. The show went down last night and was a blast. Was Is (in duo form) started the night off with improvised avant-rock textures followed by the free jazz-poetry melange that is Musetry. Myth of Mitch, fronted by the oh so rocking Sunny Kim closed out the proceedings. We hope to make a monthly event out of Channel for as long as Hell Gate Social will have us.
