The Healing Band in Miami

I had the pleasure of perfroming this past Saturday, April 8 with EKAYANI AND THE HEALING BAND at Bullfrog Eatz in Miami. Ekayani was celebrating the release of her single "La Raihna" and... her birthday! Had a great time performing Ekayani's origninal blend of atmospheric, world (and worldly) soul along with other band members Rohin Khemani (drums and percussion) and Matt Aronoff (bass). Got extremely sunburned. But loved the sun. It followed me back to New York, apparently...

New Ensemble (Still No Name!) Moving Along...

Rehearsed again with the New Nameless Ensemble today. Plan to record soon. New pieces: "Sacred Shadows", "I Travel", a new arrangement of "Who We Were" (a song I used to do with the Great Escape). And two new ones by Deadra. Hope to debut this group later in 2006. Anyone with name ideas... ...?
